Fund the Hub Zürich
Instead of taking up a big loan at a bank with high interest rates, we would like to cover our finance needs through many, many small loans from people like you who believe in the success of the Hub Zürich.
How can I contribute?
There are three options to help - with finance for
- the "Hub Work Space" with 1000 CHF,
- the "Hub Meeting Space" with 2500 CHF, or
- the "Hub Interaction Space" with 5000 CHF.
If you want, you can indicate a higher amount of course. We take the money as a loan without interest and pay you back latest by the end of 2011.
What's in for me?
We offer you a free "Hub Connect" membership for your contribution: 1 month for 1000 CHF, 3 months for 2500 CHF and 6 months for 5000 CHF and above. Besides, you contribute to realize a powerful idea to foster social entrepreneurship in Switzerland and beyond.
Hub Work Space
The Hub Work Space is designed to create an effective environment for social entrepreneurs to work on their projects and develop new ideas.
What might happen here?
Imagine Florian Kowalke, founder of Aiducation, working on the development of his venture, only to find out that he's sitting next to Lars Stein, founder of studienaktie.org. They engage in a vivid discussion over a cup of coffee and realize that they have many potential synergies that they should explore together.
How can I contribute?
You give us a 1000 CHF loan without interest and we pay you back by the end of 2011. In return, you receive a free "Hub Connect" Membership for 1 month, which includes 5h access to the Hub Zürich.

The Hub Meeting Space allows social entrepreneurs to meet in a professional setting - for investor talks, brainstorming sessions or creative workshops. The two rooms can be merged into a big room.
What might happen here?
Imagine Renat Heuberger, co-founder of SouthPole Carbon and myclimate, in a brainstorming session on microfinance for renewable energy projects in developing countries, together with Regula Ritter from responsAbility and Susanne Wittig from Ashoka. The beginning of a new partnership?

The Hub Interaction Space is a lounge for informal discussions and an "amphitheatre" that serves as a creative work space during the day and becomes an event space during the night and on weekends.
What might happen here?
Imagine a crowd of social entrepreneurs come together to share experiences and explore new ideas in a barcamp and then listen to an inspirational TED talk about collaborative innovation together. What projects might evolve from that?
